The £268 million Istanbul Aquarium opened in June 2011. The work here involved the development of an original concept which focused on the world’s major seas and oceans.
Paragon Creative already had a significant specialist role in the project and recommended Mike Cox to its client, resulting in him taking on the role of design manager for the full project during its last 18 months leading up to its opening. This work involved the management of local contractors and specialists, none of whom had previous experience in working on visitor attraction projects.
