After leaving the Design College, Mike Cox gained a 12 month contract at Eureka! The Museum for Children, leading up to its opening in 1992. He was chosen for the post  due to his 13 years prior experience as an engineer. Eureka! Was the first fully interactive museum in the UK and Mike gained much experience from his time there.
