Bio
I began my career as an engineer, spending 13 years in the field before transitioning into museum and exhibition design in 1987 and graduating in 1991.
My freelance design journey began at Eureka! The Children’s Museum in Halifax, and since then, I’ve worked independently with organisations such as the Yorkshire Museums Council and various UK design companies.
Over the past three decades, I’ve delivered a wide range of museum and visitor attraction projects, gaining extensive hands-on experience and developing a broad, adaptable skill set.
My approach balances creativity with pragmatism, always aiming to deliver intelligent, effective design solutions that align with both creative goals and operational needs.
I value strong client relationships and take time to fully understand each project's objectives, ensuring a collaborative and results-driven process from start to finish.
