The £268 million Istanbul Aquarium, opened in June 2011.

The work involved the development of an original concept that focussed on the world’s major seas and oceans.

This resulted in being given the role of design manager for the full project during its last 18 months leading up to its opening.

During this time the role included the management of local contractors and specialists, none of whom had previous experience in working on visitor attraction projects.
